Friday Night FOC Roundup!

Another crazy busy weekend means that I suck and am writing this on Monday morning, but that’s ok, because you have until tonight to get your Final Order Cutoff orders in to guarantee that you get the comics that you want! These titles are on Final Order Cutoff (our last chance to adjust order numbers before the books ship out to us) today, Monday, May 27th. From Dark Horse and in stores on 6/19 is Snow White and the Seven Dwarves #1 (of 3). Relive the classic Disney fairy tale through the first-person perspective of Snow White herself in this comic retelling. Snow is more than a damsel in distress; she possesses a heart and soul that yearn for knowledge, love, and acceptance. But confined to the castle with her stepmother the queen, is life beyond only a dream?The classic tale of Snow White told through the perspective of Snow herself!

Next from Dark Horse is Hellboy and the BPRD The Beast of Vargu #1 (One shot). Mike Mignola and fan-favorite artist Duncan Fegredo reunite in this all-new one-shot! This first issue in a new era of Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. sees Mignola and Fegredo send Hellboy to Romania for a pair of tales set in a small village with a centuries-old curse and a man-eating monster which culminate in a sinister puppet show and a demigod's ill-fated dinner.


Lastly from Dark Horse comes Trout Hollowest Knock #1 (of 4). Blaming him for the loss of the children of lower Upton, the townsfolk burn down Giuseppe's turnip factory and run him and Trout out of town. Sick and distraught, the two have no other recourse but to travel across the ocean to Giuseppe's childhood village. Trout is lost along the way, and Giuseppe is forced to deal with his brother's meddling in order to find the mysterious little boy he's sworn to protect. Can Giuseppe find him before Trout meets his fate at the hands of the god of the sea?! And who is the shadowy figure trapped in a giant shark egg who is struggling to keep Trout alive?! From DC and in stores on 6/19 is the gorgeous variant cover to Batman #73 by Ben Oliver. "The Fall and the Fallen" part four! Batman has been defeated by Bane's minions and chased out of Gotham. As a last-ditch effort to save his son from the lonely fate of being Batman, his father from another universe, Thomas Wayne, a.k.a. the Flashpoint Batman, is taking Bruce to the far ends of the Earth to try to give him the one thing that will cause him to give up crime-fighting for good.

Next from DC, Naomi #6 is on cutoff! This is it, the end of the first season of NAOMI by the breakout collaboration of writers Brian Michael Bendis and David F. Walker and artist Jamal Campbell! With her origins finally revealed, Naomi embraces the journey ahead and charts a course for the future and her role.

This special box set includes Mirage Publishing's TMNT #1-4 and the Raphael Micro-Series at their original 8 ?" x 10 ?" dimensions enclosed in a box with new art from TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman. A must-have for all shell-heads! $49.99

Lastly from IDW and in stores on 6/19 is Usagi Yojimbo #1! Follow the adventures of rabbit ronin Miyamoto Usagi as he wanders Edo period Japan on his warrior's journey. In the start of this three-part story, Usagi becomes embroiled in a puppet drama where the players are not quite what they seem! Written, drawn, and lettered by comics legend Stan Sakai! From Marvel and in stores on 6/19 is Daredevil #7. In the aftermath of Chip Zdarsky's explosive first arc of DAREDEVIL, the ground of Hell's Kitchen has shifted and Matthew Murdock has emerged a changed man...but for better or worse?Don't miss the second installment of this new arc: "No Gods, Only Devils"!
