Friday Night FOC Roundup!

Good morning Super Friends! I figured I’d try to get a crack at this early in the morning rather than at night, because there are some late nights at SDCC and that’s where we are for the week! Temps have been amazing, crowds are nuts, but we are taking a break from that to write up our weekly Final Order Cutoff newsletter! All of these titles are on FOC this coming Monday, July 22ndand will be in stores on August 14th. If you would like to guarantee that you get any number of these titles, please let us know BEFORE the end of the day on MONDAY!

First up from Dark Horse is issue #2 of Critical Role Vox Machina Origins 2! What's hiding beneath Gatshadow? The members of Vox Machina track the missing Grog back to his old home in Westruun, where he appears to have been drawn to the local cursed mountain. Of course, he has. Giant spiders, evil skeletons, and something even more nefarious stand in the unlikely heroes' way when they venture under the mountain to find their friend! From award-nominated writer Jody Houser (Orphan Black, Stranger Things) and first series author Olivia Samson, with colorist MSASSYK (Isola, Gotham Academy) and letterer Ariana Maher (James Bond, Xena)!

Next up, from Dark Horse is the second printing of No One Left to Fight #1 in stores on 8/14. We tried to warn folks, and even posted some sample pages to our FB page, but this book became an instant hit, sold out and is now coming back as a second print with a new cover by artist Fico Ossio!

Lastly from Dark Horse and in stores on 8/14 is Strayed #1 (of 5). In the far future, a military-industrial complex reigns over all humanity and actively destroys distant alien worlds. From DC and in stores on 8/14 is Black Mask Year of the Villain #1 (One-Shot). Black Mask was one of Gotham City's most ruthless crime lords. He had money, power and respect. Next from DC and in stores on 8/14 is Catwoman #14 featuring an awesome card stock variant cover by ArtGerm! A secret file out-lining the ins and outs of the criminal underworld of Villa Hermosa is on the streets, and every crook is after it. Whoever possesses this info can control everything, and some of the town's hoods are even bringing in outside agents like Lock-Up and Gentleman Ghost to act as their champions-which, let's face it, you're going to need if you're going to try to outsmart Catwoman. Making things even more dangerous for Selina Kyle, there is also a price on her head. If you can capture the database and kill the Catwoman, the payoff is double! With guest writer A.P. Ram and guest artist Mirka Andolfo!

Next from DC is the amazing variant cover to Hawkman #15 by In Hyuk Lee! Following Lex Luthor's "gift," the new and improved Shadow Thief toys with the wounded Hawkman. Carter Hall desperately seeks help from the only other shadow mystic more powerful than Shadow Thief: the Shade!

Supergirl #33 has a gorgeous variant cover by Derrick Chew and is in stores on 8/14. After a year in space solving the mystery of Krypton's demise, Supergirl returns to Earth to discover that everything she knew as Kara Danvers is gone! Plus, the usurper Brainiac-1 has set his sights on the unsuspecting Girl of Steel-and his plans are far from benevolent!

Next from DC, Superman #14 has a great Krypto forward variant cover by Adam Hughes in stores 8/14. Lex Luthor is back in Metropolis--and he's ready to wreak havoc! Next from DC Superman Year One #2 is on FOC Monday and in stores on 8/21. Finally from DC, and in stores on 8/14 is Titans: Burning Rage #1 (of 7). Available to comics shops for the first time! Hawk and Dove lead ordinary citizens in an uprising against the rich-but former Doom Patrol member Mento is pulling their strings!
