Free Comic Book Day 2016!

Join us for our first Free Comic Book Day Celebration at the shop!

Anyone can come into the shop on Free Comic Book Day and receive select comics offered by all the major comic publishers. Stock is limited so free comics are first-come-first-serve, and there will be a limited amount per customer. You can check out the entire list of available books here!

Kids will be allowed to choose 3 Free Comics
Adults will be allowed to choose 2 Free Comics

In addition to free comics, we will be having sales on just about everything at the shop:
Backissues in boxes will be Buy 2 Get 1 Free
10% off Wall Books
25% off Trade Paperbacks/Hard Covers
AND, if you set up a Pull list with us on Free Comic Book Day, you will get a $10 credit towards your first pull!

Local artists Jason Meents, Jazel Paul Riley, Shana Moura, and Gareth Kensak will be at the shop. Come check out their work, have a comission done, pick up some prints, etc!

Cosplay Pros Kristi Kai, and L-3PO Cosplay & Design will be on hand. Take photos, chat cosplay and hang out with them. They will also be judging our Costume Contest at 2PM!

Members of both The 501st Legion, and the The Rebel Legion will be at the shop in full costume.

Project Nerd will be in the house documenting the momentous occasion and will also be promoting their new publishing company. In addition to their awesomeness, they will have cosplayer Erin Lei at their booth to take pics and interact with customers!

We will be open from 10AM to 7PM on Saturday, May 7th.

There will be a costume contest at 2PM which will be judged by our cosplay guests! There are two categories for the costume contest, Kids (15 and Under), and Adults (16 and over). There will be 3 place winners in each category. Costumes will be judged on Creativity, Quality of Construction, and Level of Detail. Prizes for the costume contest are as follows:

1st Place: Weekend pass to Denver Comic Con!
2nd Place: Weekend pass to Rocky Mountain Con!
3rd Place: $25 Hall of Justice Gift Certificate

Local podcaters Thinking Outside of the Long Box will be set up, and recording live, so come be on the show.

AND we will have the Food Truck: I Gotz Bratz and Philly on The Go. trucks set up in the back lot of the shop to feed everyone!
