Hey Super Friends! Turkey day is almost here! That means food, family, friends, and new comics of course! Before you settle down in your tryptophan coma, make sure you grab some awesome new comics to read in your sweatpants! Lets get to it!

From Boom! Studios this week, Smooth Criminals #1 (of 12) hits the stands. There are certain things Brenda expects to find while hacking: money, secrets, occasional pictures of cats. She is NOT expecting to find a cryogenically frozen master thief from the 60s. Mia is everything Brenda is not-cool, confident, beautiful. And utterly unprepared for the digital age. Despite their differences, the two will need to team up to find out what happened to Mia-and how to pull off the heist of the century.

From Dark Horse this week, and the world of Mike Mignola’s Hellboy, comes Crimson Lotus #1 (of 5). Before she became Lobster Johnson's greatest adversary, the Crimson Lotus was a young girl whose family was caught up in the Russo-Japanese war. Thirty years later, the Lotus exacts her revenge with terrifying international effects, and two spies must try to chase her through China before they become flies in her web.

Also from Dark Horse this week, comes Lightstep #1 (of 5). January Lee is of royal descent, part of the ruling class that lives out their lives on accelerated, "Lightstepped" worlds where a single day is a lifetime on a normal planet. But her "holy ailment," which allows her to see the truth behind the Primogenitor's lies, marks her for banishment to the outer worlds. This is the beginning of a fantastic tale of alien worlds, a star-spanning empire, and rogues and rebels seeking a weapon hidden in the transmission of a radio drama from Earth thousands of years ago.

From DC this week, another new title drops from the Vertigo line. American Carnage #1 is written by Bryan Hill with art by Leandro Fernandez. A new, thrilling crime saga from the writer of WILDSTORM: MICHAEL CRAY and the artist of The Old Guard! Disgraced FBI agent Richard Wright is offered a chance for redemption when his old mentor sends him undercover to infiltrate a white supremacist group believed to be responsible for the death of a fellow agent.

From DC this week, Justice League Dark #5 hits the stands. Wonder Woman's magic act...banned! The DCU's magical community collectively freaks out and forbids Wonder Woman and the JL Dark team from meddling in magic anymore after the disastrous events of the "Witching Hour" storyline.
