And it’s November! With the year coming to a close, we can begin to reflect on family, friends, and of course, comics! This week is a lighter week than previous ones, so lets jump right in!

From DC this week, a new one-shot is out called Catwoman Election Night, written by Meredith Finch and Mark Russell, with art by Shane Davis and Ben Caldwell. It’s mayoral election time in Gotham, and while the city is up in arms, Catwoman couldn’t care less. But when the candidates get personal Selina decides to get involved –much to the detriment of everyon! Special bonys PREZ backup story!

From Image this week, a new mini-series called Mayday begins, and is written by Alex De Campi with art by Tony Parker. Mayday is a Cold War action-thriller like no other. It's 1971, and two young Soviet operatives are sent to California to kill a defector and recover top-secret information. As the mission falls apart into a mess of good sex, bad drugs, and ugly violence, the young Russians are faced with a dilemma: they need to rely on each other to escape America, but they must betray each other to survive Russia.

From Marvel this week, Avengers #1 hits shelves, written by Mark Waid with art by Mike Del Mundo and covers by Alex Ross. The time has come! Their ranks shattered by Civil War, their spirits weighted down by a toll both personal and spiritual, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes must find the resolve to stand united one final time against their greatest foe! Thus begins Kang War One!
