Wow! Who went and saw Logan this weekend? Right? Crazy? Waaaay too much driving for my personal taste. Movie could a been called “Driving Mrs. Knife Hands”, but I jest. It was awesome. Nice to finally see some blood on Wolvie’s claws! If you haven’t seen it, it’s worth a look. Anyhow, I digress. Lets get to the new comics slashing their way to the stands near YOU this week!

From Dark Horse this week, NEW HELLBOY! Man am I excited for this one! Hellboy and the BPRD 1954 Ghost Moon #1 hits racks this week and is written by Mike Mignola and Chris Roberson with art by Brian Churilla. In this new mini, HB hunts ancient Chinese demons in the walled city of Hong Kong when an old friend of Brutteholm’s calls in a favor. A heavily researched look into the early days fo the British spy network in the Far East combined with Mignola’s unique brand of supernatural adventure!

From DC this week, Flash #18 hits the stands, starting a new story arc titled “Sins of the Father” but Josh Williamsoon with art by Neil Googe. With his superhero career finally underway, Wally West must learn the truth about his father, Daniel West, the long lost villain known as Reverse Flash. To retrace his steps, Kid Flash, and The Flash must travel to the most dangerous place in the DC Universe: Belle Reve Prison!

From Image this week, LOW IS FINALLY BACK! Did you guys hear that? LOW IS BACK! This is one of my personal favorites spun by the incomparable Rick Remender, and illustrated by the amazing Greg Tocchini. The post-apocalyptic undersea struggle is real as a new story arc sets in and follows a new hero arising from the fighting pits of Poluma to carry on Marik Caine’s legacy!

From Marvel this week, Man Thing is back! In an all new 5 issue mini series penned by the beloved R.L. Stine (yeah of Goosebumps fame!) with art by German Peralta and Daniel Johnson. After working for years, Man Thing has regained his ability to speak and has taken Hollywood by storm…But when an ancient and mysterious danger threatens the swamp he has to choose between his life as a celebrity and the world he used to call home!
