New Comics Release for 5/13/15

This week we have a new series from Dark Horse called Harrow County, a Southern Gothic fairy tale from the writer of The Sixth Gun, and the artist from BPRD. A horror story set in the southern woods filled with ghosts, goblins and zombies! Check it out!

DC is still in the midst of their Convergence event and this week sees another set of their 2 part stories ending. This week also sees the start of year 4 of the crazy popular Injustice Gods Among Us title based on the fighting video game that came out 4 years ago

From Image we get 3 new series starting out this week, Injection, Mantle, and Mythic. Injection is written by Warren Ellis, and is about 5 crazy people who poison the 21^st century. Mantle is a story about a person reluctantly turned into a superhero after getting struck by lightening, and Mythic is about a group of people entrusted with keeping the magic that makes the world go round in check and keeping the general public unaware of it.

From Marvel this week we see the continuation of Secret Wars. We also get a new issue of Darth Vader, but most surprisingly we see the resurrection of an antiquated title from the Bronze Age in the form of Night Nurse #1! Night Nurse collects the classic miniseries in a big one-shot. A story told from the perspective of nurses who occasionally interact with superheroes/villains and their victims!

Lastly, from Boom! Studios this week we get a new series that I am excited about called Lantern City, a beautiful steampunk story that follows members of a subjugated lower class who exist in near darkness as they try to join the resistance and overthrow the wealthy affluent who live in the upper levels surrounded by excess!
