New Comics Release for 6/24/15

Man, I am actually getting this done WAAAAY ahead of time this week! Writing this from Grand Timber Lodge in Breckenridge with snow-capped mountains standing steadfast in the backdrop of an amazingly picturesque Colorado summer! Jealous aren't ya! Here is your weekly rundown of the new and notable books hitting the shelves of your favorite LCS this Wednesday! What are you excited to pick up?

This week from Dark Horse we have a new issue of Fight Club 2, the hit sequel to the groundbreaking cult classic film continuing the exploits of Tyler Durden. This week also sees a new issue of Grindhouse: Drive In Bleed Out, which continues the “Lady Danger, Agent of B.O.O.T.I., blaxploitation storyline!

From DC this week we have the debut of more DCYou titles including Green Lantern the Lost Army #1, which follows John Stewart, Arisia, Kilowog, and others for a story that challenges the GLC like none other! Also premiering this week is We Are Robin #1 which sees the teens of Gotham City donning the signature “R” of Robin and helping in the fight against crime, story and covers by Lee Bermejo!

From Image we get a new story arc with issue #6 of Rasputin, detailing the seemingly invulnerable “Mad Monk” Grigori Rasputin. This week also sees issue #2 of the psychological horror comic, Sons of the Devil, which is setting up some amazing story background and promises to be a worthwhile horror ride!

From Marvel this week we get a few new Secret Wars tie-ins, including the hugely popular Age of Ultron Vs. Marvel Zombies #1, detaililng a segment of Battleworld that is walled off from the rest of the planet, and that has Zombies loose as well as an army of Ultrons to destroy anything living! Also Howard the Duck #4 is out which features Dr. Strange and a tie-in to the 1984 Secret Wars!
