New Comics Release for 8/10/16

Here we go! Late as always, so lets get straight to it!

From DC this week, Scott Snyder returns to Batman in All Star Batman #1. With art by John Romita Jr., this debut issue sees Batman taking Two Face to a destination outside Gotham, while handcuffed together and with everyone at their heels trying to kill the Batman!

From Image this week we get a new series in Black Monday Murders #1. Written by Jonathan Hickman with art by Tomm Coker, this new series fuses classic occultism with crime noir. An intriguing tale centered on various schools of magic that exist as secret banking cartels that control all of society!

From Marvel this week, The Accused #1 comes out. Straight out of issue #3 of CW2, it’s the trial of the century! As a beloved Avenger falls, another takes the stand to answer for his death. And who will prosecute this case full of super heroes and politics? None other than Matt Murdock!

From Boom Studios this week, a very special Anniversary book is available in the Jim Henson Labyrinth 30^th Anniversary Special #1. With story and art by a variety of creators, this 40 page special is filled with stories from inside the magical walls of the labyrinth. Featuring fan favorite characters like Ludo, Hoggle, Sir Didymus, and a few surprises, this special celebration collects for the first time all of the Labyrinth Free Comic Book Day stories along with new tales!
