New Comics Release for 8/24/16

Well, I missed last week, and am already behind this week so lets jump right in!

From Dark Horse this week we have a new series starting out from superstar writer Greg Pak and art by Mirko Colak called Kingsway West. This new series mixes magic with the Old West and follows a Chinese gunslinger who gets out of prison and wants to find his wife, but a fantastical old west filled with magic, monsters, and racist vigilantes, trouble wont let him be, and in this case, trouble is a woman with a magic sword who needs his help!

From DC this week, Blue Beetle is BACK! Blue Beetle Rebirth #1 is out this week and is written by Keith Giffen with art by Scott Kolins. After being lost in the desert with no memory of the past few years, Jaime Reyes must find his way home again, but when he reaches his town, he’s surrounded by government officials who are interested in the Blue Beetle and the scarab that gives him his power!

From Marvel this week, Civil War 2 Ulysses #1 hits the stands, which is kind of a Civil War 2 prequel, and kicks off a new 3 issue mini series that details how Ulysses joined the Inhumans, and follows his difficult journey to mastering his powers. Story by Al Ewing, with art by Jefte Palo.
