New Comics Release for 9/9/15

Just under the wire this week, so lets get straight to it!

From Dark Horse this week we have a new issue of one of my favorite new series’, Harrow County. This horror/drama just keeps getting weirder and weirder and is the perfect combination of period piece about the mysticism of the South, and the creepy folklore that is endemic to that area!

From DC this week we have Batman #44, but we also have the Harley Quinn Road Trip Special #1 which sees Harley, Catwoman, and Poision Ivy together in a car heading across America in the oldest of summer traditions, though me thinks that this will be anything but traditional!

We see a new series called Tet from IDW this week. Tet is a story that follows a Marine eager to leave Vietnam behind and start a new life with his true love, when the unthinkable happens, causing him to have to investigate the brutal murder of a fellow Marine.

From Image this week, we also see a new series beginning called Head Lopper. A weird and psychedelic take on the typical barbarian trope, head lopper is sure to bring a smile to many lopped faces!

From Marvel this week we have the highly anticipated Star Wars Shattered Empire: Journey to the Force Awakens #1. This book takes place immediately after Return of the Jedi and tells the canonical tale of what happens between Episode 6 and 7, which comes out in December! Holy crap Star Wars!
