New Comics Release for 12/7/16

It’s the first New Comics week of December! Hopefully everyone is in a cheerful mood as we wind down the end of 2016. As an arctic blast is prepped to hit Colorado, you can warm up with some sweet new reads by the fireplace this Wednesday, and here are the books that are hitting the shelves!

From DC this week a new story arc starts in Aquaman #12. Written by Dan Abnett with art by Philippe Briones, “The Deluge” starts here! With the undersea army of N.E.M.O. at his command, Black Manta draws the U.S. and Atlantis into the war that Aquaman has been fighting to prevent. Now the sea king races to uncover proof of N.E.M.O.’s deception before the two nations destroy each other.

From Image this week, a new series debuts from the team that brought you the Batgirl of Burnside in Motor Crush #1 written by Brenden Fletcher, Cameron Stewart, and Babs Tarr, with art by Cameron Stewart. By day, Domino Swift competes for fame and fortune in a motorcycle-racing league. By night, she cracks heads of rival gangs in brutal bike wars to gain possession of a rare, valuable contraband: an engine boosting machine narcotic known as Crush.

From Marvel this week, Nova #1 hits stands, written by Jeff Loveness & Ramon K. Perez, with art by Ramon K. Perez. Richard Rider is back! He makes his roaring return to the Marvel Universe, but how will Sam Alexander cope with this unfathomable homecoming?
