New Comics Release for 6/8/16

It is summer! Kinda. Finally! Sorta. Get ready for the warmer temperatures with some really cool comics hitting your LCS this week! Here are a few standouts!

From Dark Horse this week, a new issue of House of Penance is available. Continuing the tale of lady Winchester and her house of oddities, this issue finds a visitor stirring up old demons and Sarah must find new ways to keep them out of her unearthly mansion!

From DC this week, 5 new Rebirth titles are available, including Aquaman Rebirth written by Dan Abnett, with art by Oscar Jimenez. This issue finds the king of Atlantis torn between his two worlds and split heritage as he embarks on a new mission that may finally make him choose between Atlantis and Earth!

From Image this week, Birthright #16 is available and begins a new story arc! The fantasy/barbarian epic about a boy who disappears and returns to earth as a barbarian with ulterior motives sees the return of a lost member of the Rhodes family in issue #16!

From Marvel this week, Civil War 2 tie ins begin with Gods of War and Amazing Spider Man. ASM sees Peter Parker taking Ulysses under his wing to try and help the new Inhuman to recognize the responsibility of using his powers safely. Of course he also has the Parker luck constantly working against him!
