BLACK Friday Night FOC Roundup!
Titles on cutoff MONDAY 11/26/18! Hopefully everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving and a fruitful Black Friday if you went out and dealt wit the crowds! Its Friday so that means its another FOC roundup! Most of these titles will be in shop on 12/19. If you are interested in ordering any, please let us know BEFORE Monday!
From Dark Horse, Witcher Of Flesh and Flame #1 is in stores on 12/19 and written by Aleksandra Motyka with art by Marianna Strychowska. Geralt is summoned by an old friend to help solve a mystery involving his daughter. Upon arriving to investigate however, Geralt is surprised by another friend from the past and he soon finds himself transported to regions beyond his original expectations.

From DC, Aquaman sees the arrival of a feature film, AND a new creative team on his ongoing title! Aquaman #43 hits shelves on 12/19! Star scribe Kelly Sue DeConnick (Captain Marvel, Pretty Deadly) and red-hot artist Robson Rocha (TEEN TITANS, SUPERGIRL) take the rudder to steer Aquaman into uncharted waters. In the wake of "Drowned Earth," an amnesiac Arthur washes ashore on a remote island, and ends up being cared for by a young woman named Callie, who's just a little TOO curious for comfort. And as a lifetime of horror movies has taught us, there's something strange going on in this island village. Aquaman needs to come to his senses quickly...or he might wind up sleeping with the fishes instead of chatting with them.

Also From DC, and in stores on 12/19 is Freedom Fighters #1 (of 12)! Line up for this all-new maxiseries set on Earth X, where the Nazis won World War II! Twenty years after invading and occupying America, Germany wiped out all metahuman resistance, including the original Freedom Fighters. Fast-forward to the present day, and a new team of Freedom Fighters emerges to challenge the Nazi occupation once again. But if they're to have any chance of victory, they're going to need Uncle Sam-who disappeared after his original team was killed. The 12-part epic "Death of a Nation" storyline kicks off here!

Lastly from DC, on FOC for Monday and in stores on 2/13/09 is the Mister Miracle Trade Paperback! The critically acclaimed 12-issue mini-series is collected. Scott Free is the greatest escape artist who ever lived. So great that he escaped Granny Goodness' gruesome orphanage and the dangers of Apokolips to travel across galaxies and set up a new life on Earth with his wife, the former Female Fury known as Big Barda. Using the stage alter ego of Mister Miracle, he has made a career for himself showing off his acrobatic escape techniques. He even caught the attention of the Justice League, which counted him among its ranks. You might say Scott Free has everything...so why isn't it enough? Mister Miracle has mastered every illusion, achieved every stunt, pulled off every trick-except one. He has never escaped death. Is it even possible? Our hero is going to have to kill himself if he wants to find out.

From Image, and in stores on 12/19 is the series premier of Hardcore #1 written by Andy Diggle with art by Alessandro Vitti and Adriano Lucas. Imagine being able to take over the body of anyone on Earth. Sound crazy? Not for Agent Drake and the Hardcore Program. They can turn any person into a human drone to get to targets that normal soldiers can't. Drake is the best soldier Hardcore has to offer. But when he gets stranded in a body with only 72 hours to discover who's hijacked the Program, he'll have to pull out all the stops against an enemy who could be literally anyone.

Also from Image, on FOC for Monday and in stores on 12/19 is Middlewest #2! Hopefully you had a chance to pick up #1, and give it a read and chatted with Jorge at the shop. If you did, you know how good this new series is and you can strap in for the ride with issue #2! As Abel and Fox tumble out of Farmington they must quickly land on their feet. The protections of home are gone and they find themselves in a hungry, wild new world.

From Boom! Studios, Firefly #2 is on FOC for Monday and in shops on 12/19! The untold story of the Unification War continues! As the crew of the Serenity scrambles to fix their damaged ship before anyone finds them, Mal and Zoe must face their past-and the reactions of their mighty disgruntled crew.

Also from Boom! Studios and in stores on 12/19 is Klaus and the Crying Snowman #1 (one-shot). The best holiday tradition in comics returns in the next chapter of the epic Santa saga by visionary Grant Morrison and Eisner Award-nominated artist Dan Mora! Klaus has to help an absentee dad-turned-snowman make amends before melting away for good. And probably before he's defeated by a pantheon of Norse Gods and their minions. All in a day's work for Santa Claus.
