New Comics Release for 5/30/18

Hey everyone! Massive week this week with a few very heavy hitters so lets jump right in!

From Dark Horse this week, a new series launches called Blackwood #1, a supernatural fantasy about a magical murder in a sorcery school. When four teenagers with haunted pasts enroll in Blackwood College-a school that trains students in the occult-their desire to enhance their supernatural abilities and bond with others is hampered by an undead dean's curse, ghosts in their dorm, a mischievous two-headed mummy-chimp, a plague of mutant insects, and the discovery of an ancient evil that forces our heroes to undergo a crash course in the occult for the sake of the world.

From DC this week, Bendis is here! Man of Steel #1 hits the racks this week. A new era begins for Superman as a threat from his earliest origins reemerges to destroy the Last Son of Krypton. As Superman struggles to come to grips with what has happened to his wife and son, he must also face a new threat that's determined to burn down Metropolis!

Also this week, the ramp up to the wedding of the century begins with Batman Prelude to the Wedding Robin Vs Ras Al Ghul #1! Ra's al Ghul returns to have a heart-to-heart with his grandson, Damian. Once upon a time, Ra's thought Bruce Wayne would be the heir apparent to his criminal empire, but now that Batman has turned his back on Talia for good, Ra's wants to know if Damian Wayne will honor his mother by stepping into the family business at last.
