New Comics Release for 4/15/15

This week, from Dark Horse we get a new Frankenstein Underground book by Mike Mignola, along with new issues of Creepy AND Grindhouse! If you aren’t reading Grindhouse you should check it out. It is basically a compilation series of B-movies from the horror and sci-fi genera, and the stories and art of fantastic!

Convergence is still ongoing at DC with issue #3 and a bunch of new #1s shipping this week including favorites Flash and Swamp Thing! Also be on the look out for Suiciders #3, a personal favorite of Matt Renwick’s from our local Colorado Comic Book Enthusiasts Facebook Page!

IDW somehow has the rights to a bunch of Walt Disney books, and presents us with Uncle Scrooge #1 this week. I have no idea how they pulled that off, but it must have Marvel/Disney pretty steamed, as they are releasing a slew of Disney books over the coming months.

From Image Comics this week we have a couple new series starting such as Beyond Believe #1 and Kaptara #1, the former is an adaptation of a Nerdist Podcast, the latter, is a new book written by Sex Crims Chip Zdarsky and promises to be fun and ridiculous. We also see new issues of Chew, Deadly Class, Lazarus, and Manifest Destiny this week!

Marvel greets us with a new issue of Star Wars coming hot off the tail of the new trailer release at Celebration this last weekend. We also see new issues of Black Widow, Guardians of the Galaxy and Hulk to name a few! The big buzz however, is around All New X-Men #40 which purportedly outs Iceman as being gay!
